Ready, get set – go!

Always on the move, also in sports

BMA likes a challenge – whether it involves running races, playing football matches or towing oversized vehicles. Even in their spare time, BMA employees enjoy working as a team and crossing the finish line together.

BMA’s head office is located in the heart of Braunschweig. The streets of the city centre, reserved for cars and pedestrians treating themselves to an ice cream on ordinary days, are taken over once a year by around 13,000 sporting enthusiasts. In summer 2017, a BMA team of 26 runners, including three employees’ children, crossed the starting line of the Braunschweig Night Run.

Employees from BMA have participated in the annual so-called Braunschweig Company Run since 2010. This running event is for companies only, an opportunity to honour the fastest managing director or trainee.

With the BMA Group’s head office in Germany, it is hardly surprising that there is also a BMA football team. Reports about matches can be found occasionally on our website at www.bma-worldwide.com.

Testing your strength for a good cause

Many of our employees are involved in charity projects. One of them is Dieter Asche. Six years ago, he started the “Fire engine pulling” strength event in Wolfenbüttel, just a few kilometres from our head office. All proceeds from this fundraising contest go to children with disabilities. In the record year, 53 teams tried their hand at pulling the huge fire engines, including a team from BMA. Our team has become known as Panzerknacker, even outside Braunschweig. And we have added new trophies to our collection at regular intervals.
