The Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative in Wahpeton, North Dakota, USA, and BMA can look back on a long-standing partnership, stretching back to the 1970s, when BMA built and equipped the Minn-Dak beet sugar factory. Their latest collaboration includes supply of six continuous K3300F centrifugals and four DRP120 massecuite pumps for a new centrifugal station.

With these state-of-the-art machines, Minn-Dak will increase both the capacity and efficiency of its sugar factory. The heavy-duty DRP120 massecuite pumps ensure a reliable and even flow of massecuite to the six powerful continuous K3300F centrifugals.
Precise massecuite control thanks to state-of-the-art circulation system
Unlike conventional gravity-based systems, where massecuite is fed into the centrifugal from a storage tank that is positioned higher up, the centrifugal station uses a state-of-the-art circulation system. With constant system pressure, this permits precise control of the massecuite flow and thus even more efficient process control.
Commissioning in time for sugar beet campaign
The K3300F centrifugals and DRP120 pumps will be installed in late July and in August, the new centrifugal station will be commissioned – in time for the start of the 2023 sugar beet campaign in the United States. With this new project, Minn-Dak and BMA have further strengthened their collaboration.
