Vierverlaten sugar factory: ten new batch centrifugals from BMA in operation

Cosun Beet Company opts for efficiency and sustainability in sugar production

For a stronger technology partnership with BMA: ten new E1810 type centrifugals have been delivered to Cosun Beet Company for its Vierverlaten sugar factory. The investment was made based on the positive experiences of the Dinteloord factory, where ten centrifugals had already been successfully replaced.

Better energy efficiency with centrifugals from BMA

The machines now installed at the Vierverlaten sugar factory consume less energy, reducing operating costs while also making production more sustainable. Thanks to their innovative technical concept, cycle times are significantly shorter. In addition to the centrifugals, the factory has also gained two new distribution mixers, adjusted for the higher throughput.

Simplified parts management with standardisation

In its Vierverlaten project, Cosun Beet Company builds on the excellent experiences gained with the E1810 centrifugals installed at the Dinteloord sugar factory, where they have demonstrated their reliability. One key benefit is the standardisation of parts: both sugar factories use BMA centrifugals of the same type, considerably simplifying parts management and making maintenance more efficient and cost-effective.

Engineering project for sustainability in sugar production

Cosun Beet Company and BMA can look back on a long and fruitful partnership. The sugar factories at Vierverlaten, Dinteloord and Anklam use a range of machinery and equipment from BMA. At present, BMA is carrying out the engineering for another project at Vierverlaten, which aims to make production processes even more energy-efficient and sustainable.
