BMA to manufacture 17 centrifugals for Pantaleon Group

Plants support Latin American sugar producer’s digitalisation strategy

BMA has received a new order for the manufacture and supply of 17 centrifugals from Pantaleon Group, one of Latin America’s largest sugar producers.

BMA supplies centrifugals for sugar factories in Latin America

Centrifugals from BMA will be installed at sugar factories in Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua. BMA is building a total of ten (E1810) batch-type and seven (K3300F) continuous machines for these sites.

The centrifugals for sugar producer Pantaleon are scheduled to be commissioned in the last quarter of 2023.

BMA and Pantaleon: a long partnership

Pantaleon and BMA have been collaborating closely since the 1990s. With two sugar factories in Mexico (El Mante and Panuco), the Pantaleon sugar mill in Guatemala, and its site in Nicaragua (Monterosa), Pantaleon Group is one of Latin America’s largest sugar producers.
