"Best meeting ever" – the second International BMA Agents' Conference was a tremendous success.

"Together. Stronger." was the conference motto for this BMA event. Held again over three days, it was an opportunity for the 81 participants from 37 countries to share knowledge and experiences on global networks, new projects, and innovations in automation.

The second International BMA Agents' Conference, held in Berlin from 12 to 16 October 2014, provided a forum for informative presentations and many opportunities for lively discussions.

Participants from 37 countries had come to share experiences in a friendly atmosphere.

Following an address by guest speaker Mr Liebtreu, who introduced the conference motto, "Together. Stronger.", agents from a number of countries, for instance, South Africa, China and Ukraine, spoke about their collaboration with BMA in the areas engineering and project coordination. Presentations on upgrading activities in the Indian sugar cane industry and the use of BMA pulp driers in sugar beet processing were rounded off by an animated discussion about successfully completed projects.

With presentations on the Global Service Network, the participants were given an insight into BMA assistance in the areas product management, sales, and development and training. One afternoon session was fully dedicated to the market potential of automation, enhanced by a small exhibition prepared by BMA Automation to illustrate the application of innovative control and automation processes.

The third day of the conference started with success stories related by different participants on topics such as diffusers and extraction towers, with innovations and the competitive edge gained with the use of state-of-the-art BMA centrifugal technology rounding off the 3-day event.

"Together. Stronger." – engaging presentations from the BMA subsidiaries and by BMA agents contributed to a successful experience and knowledge-sharing event, and to a great atmosphere. Many new contacts were forged during dinner, with the illuminations of the Berlin Festival of Lights providing a festive backdrop.
